@sbkarmen My dream is to own my own shop. Im 18 and i go to a county college but they dont have an auto program there. After i get an associates degree (my parents wanted me to get a college degree before i started to work on cars) where do i go from there? I dont want to go to UTI because people say it sucks and today its all about money. What do u think i should do after county college? By the way im interested in the performance side of cars not fixing them...

@demencialchico Yup, I own a shop I went to community college and learned in a couple of years without paying outragous fees! by the time I was 24 I had my own shop! now I'm 37 and still kicking ass laughing at kids that go to these for profit school!

@ragalyisp , o man... this worrys me. I plan on starting class in Jan , here in Houston. I currently drive rucks, but hey I do own a 7.3 Power Stroke that I would love to get my hands dirty on.. upgrades.

@Rich4life69 yeah i agree with you man! i went to (UEI) a different school but its all the same BS, i spent two courses also and i felt like it was a waste of money, the teacher talk so much about his personal life and dumb shit instead of teaching good stuff, anyways i ended up going to Community college and its way better and cheaper,
