PROTEST against Takeover of MPS frontline view

read this open letter about the situation in milwaukee regarding the public school takeover:

I wrote you earlier but this is troubling my heart. I woke up with it on my mind and I want you to know that this is far more serious than we think. I would like to pose a couple of what ifs to you, just to see what you think. Now in the previous message there were a few typos, yes, I was a little tired when I got home from that meeting after working all day but even then I felt the urgency to get something out to you. So, if there are a few typos here, please excuse me, I cant afford an editor.
WHAT IF..The Governor, while looking over the stay of affairs in the various cities of the State of Wisconsin, looks at the City of Milwaukee and its dismal state of fiscal affairs and says, My goodness, that is just a fiscal mess, I think I would like to begin the process of taking it OVER. He would change STATE LAW to choose YOUR MAYOR AND YOUR ALDERPEOPLE? Would you go for that? Under this plan YOU no longer will be able to vote for them.REMEMER THAT!!

WHAT IF.President Obama, while looking at all the states in the Union, looks at Wisconsin and says My word, that is just some fiscal mess down there in that state, hmmmm, I think I will pass an executive order and take it over, so that I may choose the Governor and ALL the in the STATE LEGISLATURE!! Would you go for that? Again, under this plan, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS.

Though I understand that there MUST be something done with Milwaukee Public Schools, and President of the School Board, Michael Bonds, discussed HIS plan with us,(hopefully, you have read it) PLEASE, let it not be at the expense of your giving up your right to vote. Your RIGHT to choose your person on that school board for your district and your children.

Why arent your elected people, seeing this? Are they blind? AGAIN, This is not ONLY about changing MPS but about YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR REPRESENTATIVE ON THAT SCHOOL BOARD!! I CANT EMPHASIS ENOUGH HOW SERIOUS THIS IS, ESPECIALLY FOR BLACK PEOPLE WHO HAD TO FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO VOTE, PERIOD. But the truth is that we ALL lose if those rights are taken, even at this level. Hopefully you get it!!
