People's Postcode Lottery Winner in Cardiff- SA73 1QA

A retired civil servant from Milton Haven is celebrating after her postcode, SA73 1QA was drawn as this week's Welsh Street Prize.

Kathleen Bowen was thrilled when People's Postcode Lottery ambassador, Scott Quinnell appeared at her door with a cheque for £2,500.

Kathleen, who has only been playing the People's Postcode Lottery for a few weeks can't believe her luck.

She said: "I just couldn't believe it. What a fantastic return after only a month of playing. I've never won anything in my life apart from the odd bottle of wine on a raffle. It was lovely to meet Scott Quinnell too, he is so charming."

"People's Postcode Lottery really appealed to me because I like to give something to charity and I was really impressed by how much money has already gone to good causes."

Kathleen is planning to spend her winnings on a nice holiday. And she wasn't the only player to win in Milton Haven this week, 6 people in postcode sector SA73 1 Shared the Sector Prize, winning between £831 and £277.
