  • @ItalianGirl903 i think it all depends on preference, gerrard has a rougher manlier less professional voice and i just find that more awesome

  • Most of his long time followers know all about that detail of his personal life. Although one part of that is incorrect, most of us will know which part. So who cares, it takes nothing away from his incredible talent. Who in this world is perfect. how petty. But this is only a troll after all, what else can we expect?!!

  • @bookworm7087 Certain parts of his life are not included, there is no mention of the daughter, from a relationship prior to marriage, who went to the press to tell the her story. It made the front page of The Mirror in 1988ish.He went on to a chat show to discuss the book and looked agitated, maybe he dreaded the subject being brought up as this was at the height of his success with Phantom. As the two older girls were six months apart it was a bit awkward.

  • I appreciate good writing and I was so impressed with Parcel. I laughed out loud and I cried - I'm not sure I've ever done that while reading. I recall him saying that he wrote the book as a cathartic experience - understandable given his childhood traumas. To me, he's still that boy in many ways, which might explain why he's so emotional in his performances. As to his concerts, I read that he would make a beeline for home afterwards instead of going to the stage door because he was so drained.

  • @bookworm7087 Yes, I've read his book and have owned it for many years. He's such a good writer, and he says he loves writing too. Wish he'd write another one, he has so much more to tell. His concerts are definitely a complete experience. When it's over, one is left wanting it to go on much longer, and it could but I guess he would need a rest, lol.

  • Isn't that amazing that he just fell into that other career? As he's said before, many things in his career have just "happened" - he never planned for them. Much as I adore him, you can only gauge charisma by seeing someone in person and every fan review I've read has mentioned that Michael has it in spades. What a complete experience one of his concerts must be. He doesn't just get up there, sing and that's it - he's an amazing. He's also one heck of a writer - have you read his book?

  • @bookworm7087 Most of his concerts were sold out shortly after they were announced. With good reason. He's such a charismatic person, and his performances, were out of this world. Complete with his talent for storytelling, it was a tour de force every time. I've been to a few of his concerts and would love to do so again.

  • However, he has standards - as he should. I wouldn't want him to just do "anything". I hope that there are things out there that appeal to Michael and offer what he's looking for. The good thing is I don't think he needs to be THE star attraction. I suspect a good role, even if it's not a huge part, would be fine for him. To clarify the previous post, I've never heard him sing live- but how fantastic it would be if he went on tour again.

  • He said he was going to take lessons again, so I really hope he follows through. Unless something goes wrong, I expect he will - it wasn't like he waffled on returning to performing; he clearly still loves it. I would LOVE to hear him sing again, but as it would take awhile to get his voice back, I'd be thrilled to see him in a play in the meantime - give him something to sink his teeth into. He has so many fans who want to see him do something, anything.

  • So far he is still thinking of doing something after WoZ, be it a play or something else. I hope he keeps that thought as he was so content to stay in his New Zealand home. I know he says he needs to bring his voice back up to his standards, maybe he could do his sought after concerts again. I can only wish. So many would go to see him again.
