check out http://laketahoerealestateblog.com for more fun and information about South Lake Tahoe.

Shot on a September morning at 10 am in Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe. Most images are stills and are on South Shore of the Bay, which at that time is against an ascending sun. It was tricky.

This video is about Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe. Lets spend a little time there; it's one of the most photographed places in the world.

This is us coming in on our boat. It's a gorgeous September day at about 10 o'clock in the morning.

We come here often, and one of the things we like most is the tree line on the south shore of emerald bay.

Along this shoreline is where the eagles dare..., so we thought we'd focus on treetops, and the eagles nests along the shoreline.

The bird on the limb here, we believe, is an osprey... also known as a sea hawk, or fish eagle.

The bald eagle is the holy grail of Emerald Bay birds, of course, and we hope we see one along this magnificent alpine lake shoreline today. In the meantime fish eagle will do.

This is prime Lake Tahoe eagle real estate, and we've been seeing the same nests in the same tress here year after year..., we like to imagine the nests belong the same bird family for generations... and no short sales are ever found here, thank goodness from time to time, one does hit the Emerald Bay bird visual jackpot...

Folks, say hello to the magnificent Bald Eagle, a cherished symbol of flying high, and being free.

One of the things we like so much about being out on our boat is its sound system. It hooks up to our iPod of about 13 thousand songs... we play it on shuffle.

Imagine cruising through this awesome alpine lake wonderland... and Miles Davis, Howlin' Wolf or Bob's Dylan or Marley comes on.

The sound of silence offers it's own, splendid wonder too.

We call this one the leaning tree of emerald bay.

Anytime friends visit, and one always has lots of visiting friends when you have a home in Lake Tahoe, the first thing we always do it seems is take them to Emerald Bay...

We like to bring folks we do business with out here with us too.... and lots of clients have become friends out here on these magic waters.

The thing we like most about Emerald Bay is we can come back tomorrow. It's always here. and next time it'll be something else marvelous that catches our eye.
