@freddietz96 True, even Betrand Russell the most peaceable of British philosophers has a chapter in his A History of Western Philosophy for Islamic Philosophy but only touches on it as 'Mohammedans' which seemed to me kind of a Cultish way of describing Islam.

The Western nations are defensive when truth is directed at them. The moment one opens his mouth and it's truth, you will be an enemy to the Western nations. As a young girl, my neighbor who idolized Gadhafi, read some of the Green Book to me. I was very young, but thru his conversations, I learned then that Gadhafi was a benevolent leader who had fantastic plans for his people I questioned him as to why a US president would never write such words like his. He told me why. I believed him.

If you read Hegel’s Philosophy of History, he talks about mankind’s movement from less freedom to more freedom in his society/thought, beginning w/ Judaism, moving into the Persian era, the Greek and Roman eras w/ Oriental influence, Mohametanism, Charlemagne, etc—as Man strives for his ideal, perhaps the Ideal—w/ Judaism as the most primitive. Yet what is the western world today? Luther? Kant? Jung? It’s Judaism. More conquest-based, more paranoid/racist/elite--the west moves backwards.

I read the green book. While I agree with some of the views of Qaddafi I don't agree with everything in the green book. One thing is for sure, western "democracy" is a farce. The west solves its problems by assassination and dropping bombs.
