The 2011 Meritas Games set a new attendance record, with 550 students from Meritas schools around the world who gathered in Orlando, Florida to compete.

Windermere Prep took home the Annual Meritas Cup, holding off the defending champions, Rancho Solano, and third place winner, Lake Mary Prep.

In the athletic competitions, six schools took home gold medals in eight team sports. North Broward Prep and Instituto San Roberto won two gold medals to lead the way with Windermere Prep, Lake Mary Prep, Rancho Solano, and Collège du Léman winning one each.

The newest member of the Meritas family, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, was awarded with Meritas Sportsmanship award for their actions both on and off the playing fields.

In the evenings, students-athletes interacted off the court with their peers as they attended an ice cream social, Disney's Very Merry Christmas Party, The Blue Man Group, and Islands of Adventure. The closing ceremony was held at Hard Rock Orlando in the main theatre and students were awarded medals and recognized for their achievements.
