Presenter Sean Bires (that's me!) talks about the highly influential Japanese animator Mitsuo Iso, the "flagbearer of new realism".

  • That short from Neo Tokyo is my favorite

  • @fromstart2finish bit late to respond here, I wish youtube's comments would allow links. Another search you should try is Art of the Title (a blog about opening title sequences) Super. They have an article and a video link about it, enjoy :)

  • Does anyone know who was in charge of the early Shippuden fights? Such as Sakura vs Sasori, Sasuke vs Itachi, Kakashi and Obito vs Rock Ninja, Team 10 and Kakashi vs Hidan and Kakuzu....etc. Whoever does them is amazing, but I can't find the answer anywhere on the web. I know the people in charge now are in the next video, but I actually don't like their stuff. Help please?

  • @EdwardElric555 yh i thought saint seiya was used with some sakuga as well lol

  • @EdwardElric555 I hate to break the flow of in-depth discussion, but I laughed my ass off at how you incorporated "fuck" into that question.

  • @te2rx but dude u forgot birdy the mighty which had of detailed characters and most of the action is really clear to see and a amazing animation they did on that show

  • Mitsuo Iso is my favorite Japanese animator. What the man can do with 3's and 4's compared to his colleagues on 2's and 1's is ridiculous.

  • This man is a genius period.
