Re-uploaded after the "semi-fixed" version failed to up about 9 times (according to YouTube's records... fuckin' quicktime...) ANYWAY! Explanations and so forth follow:
This was my FMP300 final film. Carl Rossi (www.carlrossi.com) was kind enough to let me use one his short script, so credit goes to him for the story. I just shot the thing.
Double credit goes to my skeleton crew for successfully filming a 6 minute film in like, 4 hours I think. It might have been less, we were racing the sun.
Yes, I am aware of the color in "that one part" and that's the part I "semi-fixed" in the version that YouTube won't take. I'm too lazy to re-cut the thing as this was just a school project and not something I'll be sending to Cannes. I'm also aware of the eye-line breaks there in the begging and that's just sloppy filmmaking on my part and I do take responsibility for that.
If you don't know what I'm talking about then don't worry about it, it's not important.
Could I have picked more "appropriate" music for the opening credits?
Probably.
Do I want to go back and change it?
Nope. Once again: school project.
Everything was filmed on my ol' Canon XL2 with the 16x lens. We used the Rode Videomic for sound, and props to Jake Owens for finding places to hide the thing around the car on such a ridiculously windy day. All lighting was natural, we just had one reflector we used.
Edited with Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects.
