Been listen' to the morbids since altars of madness, so what if they changed their style, every band needs to evolve, and if you dont like it,go suck a dick and listen 2 something else!

it's their decision, like i said. you may not like it (me too) but you have to accept it that they wanted to do a change.

and dude, are you really thinking that they would have wanted David Vincent to come back if only HE wanted to change the sound? not really, right?

"ripp off the fans that want to buy death metal" if they really wanted to achieve that, then they would have quit the band....

just stay cool, accept it, find other bands :-)

@Failhaid If the guys would have stayed together and evolved into this, that would be ok. But to bring musicians in and out then stylistaclly change the band, that is just an attempt to rip off the fans that want to buy death metal.

This is not the same group of people that made Altars of Madness. Why should they use the same name if they wont even play the same style?

@urnnandape and still we can't change it. all you can do is saying "well they don't play my kind of music any more - i'll stick with the old stuff"....but some people call them traitors and shit like that - i mean traitors for what?in my eyes there are so many people who are to afraid of their favourite bands changing their sound.... there is so much to chose from these days, so it's really no reason to get upset. yes MA are legends, but i just accept their choice and listen to the old stuff...

@Failhaid I'm not saying MA said they were expecting oldschool fans to like , but their oldschool fans have been the ones supporting their 20 plus year careers and it seems they would care a little!! All of my friends and people I know from the oldschool scene hate this shit!!

@urnnandape ...and i actually have some respect for having the balls for experiments. of course, the way it turned out was absolutely not my thing. but they could have said, "ok we know what everyone expects, let's write a standart-fast-MA-Album" but then i'm sure most fans would have also complained because the material would have a huge lack of passion and class, because this is not what they really had in mind, just to kiss everyones asses....
