This is a recording of "Blues my naughty sweetie gives to me," made in 1920 by Harry Raderman on Edison Cylinder.
I particularly like this recording because it's simply so edgy, so unabashedly exuberant without being sentimental or cliched. There's not a a single 'goofy' tone, not a single attempt to be 'cool' or 'old timey', just a 3 minute repetition of the same basic melodies, with each cycle being more pounding, more daring, more hypnotizing.
More complete information about this recording's issue number and production, as well as a downloadable mp3 version I'm sure you'd be more interested in, could be found on UCSB's "Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project' webpage.

Fascinating. I thought, Jimmie Noone had written this tune. Is anything known about the musicians?
