at last someone heard the same thing than me in this episode in 2006 and i have the same reaction like other in this post whit my friends nobody belived me too.

Did they ever explain what that phone call was all about?
The whole Colonel Locke thing? Rendezvous?
Was that Keemy on the phone? Sounded like him.
At this point in the story/series though, I don't think Lock has ANYTHING to do with Smoke... They did things like this with many of the characters (like a scene where it seems you see Ethan walk by TWICE in the background, when Michael is at the park with his ex, meeting Walt). They all tie together at some point or another...
But... Colornel?

Actually, they said the smoke monster's chittering sound effect is really just a taxi cab receipt printing thingy. So, Locke's little typewriting calculator thing there really is making the monster sound.

Omg, haha I realized this exact same thing in 2006. I tried to tell people but nobody believed me. Haha I just want to let whoever reads this comment know that I thought of that too!!!!!!
