She is beautiful on and off the ice... she is an amazing skater and one to look out for in all the competitions!! Go Russia, Germany, Denmark, UK, and best of all USA!!!

I totaly agree... and Sandra Basics too always did the same to Irina all the time ...

and that she's not as pleasing too watch as Sasha or that she doesn't have the same carriage and elegance as the Americans. There should be a guide about commentating, and the first rule should be: No comparing skaters in a way that isn't positive to both athletes

Dick and Peggy are nothing compared to Scott Hamilton and Sandra Bezic's incredibly biased commentary! When Irina skated the best SP of the night in Salt Lake City 2002, the only thing they said was: "Clean, no deductions"! Go figure...

I'll take her over Dick Button or Peggy Flemming any day. They may as well just come out and say they hate Irina's guts the way the go on about how awful she is and how she has no artistry or technique.
