  • are you sure? i thought his tempi were much slower?

  • thanx galaxy ill check that out, i would say in this recordings defense that it isn't a brilliant recording sonically

  • the tempo is just right. it just doesn't work any slower than this!

  • This is Charles Munch with the Boston Symphony Orchestra - it's the RCA recording he made in March of 1962 and was an early example of Dynagroove.

  • @padaneis In the advertisement that pops up when you watch this video, it says Charles Munch, but I don't konw about the Boston Symphony. This is a marvelous performance though!
