268. Naik Naik (Traditional Indonesian)

Lagu anak-anak Indonesia. (Indonesian children's song).

Yes, I know these are not the usual words. People always laugh when I sing it this way. But this is the version I learnt from an Indonesian friend at university forty years ago. Maybe it's a local variation, but these are the words I learnt. I still have a tape of her singing it.

But I know I'm going to get lots of comments telling me I've got it wrong!

Raymond tidak salah melagukan lagu ini... ada beberapa bait dari lagu ini. pertama naik2 ke puncak gunung, kemudian versi satu lagi naik2 ke gunung nona. yang gunung nona itu versi (mungkin asli) dari lagu ambon...

" meski suka, tinggal suka, mama panggil "BETA" pulangeeee..

Saya dari suku Jawayang lama menetap di Sumatra, daan sedari SD saya biasa menyanyikan kedua bait ini...

note : Bagi teman yang belum tau; memang "Ada" Gunung nona di Ambon.
