With the concept phase of the project now complete, development of a technology demonstrator can now begin. Further optimization by each of the consortium partners will continue in parallel, with the project running until Fall 2013. Series production of the Colibri is then planned for the end of 2014, with modern manufacturing approaches being employed to ensure minimum production costs and a viable selling price for the vehicle.
