I love love the movie Enchanted. Yes I torture my husband with it. I know I am commenting on your video late, but I am a straight heterosexual married living in NY. I wanted to get an understanding of the trans-gender (hate to be ignorant) and decided to watch some vlogs. Yours are by far informative and give a true depiction of the struggles, changes and day to day situations that affects transition. Kudos to YOU, Sara and your family for handling this with such open mindedness and love.

I totally had a similar experience at my gf's family's house this Thanksgiving: people calling me two different names, two different pronouns, calling me my gf's "friend" rather than partner, and the kids absolutely failing to get the name right. It was definitely frustrating!  Nobody called me "they," though. That seems a bit intentional and not really a faux pas. The holidays suck, anyway! Keep up the fight. :)
