A tribute to one of my favorite cities in the world. This was my first trip back since moving away in 2007. The first song used in this video is "The Dream Academy - Please, please, please, let me get what I want", which was famously used in the museum scene of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." The second is Bill Conti's "Glider - Part 2", which was used in the remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair". For those who have never been to San Diego, I strongly encourage you to visit and atleast visit a few of the places showcased. Pictures and footage were taken with my Sony Cybershot DSC-L1. I just purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC W290, so this is that last video I will shoot with my old cam. Enjoy, and feel free to leave feedback.

  • Thank you for sharing your photos. I'm EXTREMELY homesick right now. Born and and raised in San Diego. I see you are a fan of Balboa Park. That is one of my top 5 and my parents actually got married there. I would love to move back, but I think that would require 3 jobs and 6 roommates. Maybe someday..........

  • @diegogirl4ever I'm glad you enjoyed it! I lived there for four years and it was quite an experience. Even when times were rough, the beautiful scenery and weather made it one of the best places I've ever lived. Yes, it's expensive, but I would sacrifice living in a smaller place to have the year-round weather, proximity to beaches, and overall laid back southern CA lifestyle. Hope you make it back one day. Until then, hopefully my video will serve as motivation. Cheers!

  • I was only there for a limited amount of time, wish I could have done more on that trip

  • Thanks Superinnocenti! Looking back, i kinda wish I had a better camera as the pictures become blurry if you view on a bigger screen, but that camera was/is amazing. Hoping to make more videos in the future!

  • thanks! glad you enjoyed it:)
