i'd have to say 2002 would be the heartbreak when we tied to advance to State and then lost the tiebreaker with the "Cowboy's" show...'00-03 marching seasons were some of the best after the 94 season...

actually zach Mr. Howard told us that was the best he ever seen and told us that night that the second time we played was a hell of a lot better than this time. That band had determination. And all of us as a whole cried that night. Not for the seniors but because we gave it out best. The bands after that didn't care. They just wanted to talk. No heart or anything. I only wish that the upcoming bands could be like that but they are to worried about skipping practices.

Your information is alittle inaccurate they got 6th place and that year area E only advanced 4 bands so they probably didn't lose by just one point. They aren't any better than we were last year. This band is extremely unbalance and the show is lacking. The instrumentation arrangement of the show isn't state quality. I'm not trying to put anyone down, but after hearing the hype of this show and actually seeing multiple state qualified shows. I know what I'm talking about

When you are in the band hall and run across 1994 Fiddler on the Roof post that video. That was Hondo's best year!
