Worldview Everlasting AskdaPastor2.0 takes on the historical reliability of the new testament debate and briefly attempts to explain its own existence, not to mention brings you dueling celloists (literally....with light sabres!) and a guest appearance by everyone's favorite Christmastime uncle Bing.

  • Great video! That letter was pretty amazingly absurd, stupid and shallow, but it provided a broad springboard for your defense ("apology") of the scriptures, which was such a pleasure to hear, that I'll recommend it widely! May God bless you, your loved ones, your work and especially these videos.

  • @ILJAMEN it is not gullibility to view something objectively ..I see it happening for both believers and non believers .Neither side has a right to play the victim while being the aggressor .

  • @noahidetales

Actually, if you go on Facebook Creation pages you'll see the exact opposite. Non-believers belittling Christians, ruining their faith, and crushing their spirits. There are non-believers that want to crush your faith. don't be so gullible to their "Christians are so mean rhetoric." Yes there are mean people who claim Jesus. Maybe I should call the wahmbulence for them. Wait.. Nah..

  • Hi Rev, actually one can prove from the Bible itself through scientific study that only God could have put together the Bible and kept it in its intended form through the ages without change. There are various other qualities of God's Word that can be found, especially when the Bible includes information about people and events around us in the world today. I wrote a book called Factual Faith - Belief Founded on Truth in which I examine these in a little more detail, should you be interested.

  • outstanding video!

  • Rev, thanks for the video, I would add that often empirical evidence arguments against faith fail on 2 points from the philosophy of science. First, is that there is no evaluation of evidence that is free of presuppositions (Popper, Kune, etc) Second, Kune shows in his book "the essential tension" that science actually involves alot of 'intuition' and 'subjectivity' regarding theory choice. Superior objectivity is thus refuted, Both Christian and Atheist therefore start with reasoned faith.

  • @SporloMBSSB You are right and im sorry for my last message to you which i have removed . I wasn't trying to give the impression that ANYONE has an excuse ..No one deserves to be attacked we are in complete agreement on that . What i would like to see is believers and nonbelievers to talk about the real issues rather than hurting one another . That would make me happy ..

  • @Apologetics4Christ I think that is only half of it ..I think nonbelievers are sick of being belittled by Christians . I think they are sick of being treated with prejudice and being hit with verbal assaults on a personal level .... Its not just that they hate the message they hate being mistreated as well . Who doesn't ?

  • Would it be fair to say that archaeology does not prove the authority of the Bible, but it proves the Bible is a historical document? Sorry, I have to go now, I suddenly feel the urge to learn to play the cello.

  • Lutheran Satire Super True stories episode 2 is a great addition to this video. :-)
