From the man who made Sarah Palin famous for not knowing Africa was a continent, comes Martin Eisenstadt's scandalous new book: "I Am Martin Eisenstadt: One Man's (Wildly Inappropriate) Adventures with the Last Republicans" - from publisher Faber & Faber (Farrar, Straus, Giroux). The book is available now on Amazon and at fine bookstores everywhere.

Celebrate the one-year anniversary of the 2008 presidential election through the admittedly fuzzy memories of someone who was there, in the trenches, and on the frontlines of one of the wildest campaigns in American history. So before you read Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" on November 17, read the book from the man who claims to have originated that phrase; read the "real" Sarah Palin book that's twice as rogue-y, half the price and comes out 2 weeks earlier!

  • The Harding institute is just Eisenstat and his buddies, out to make a buck, and to screw around with America.

So what's the beef with Sarah? Will we ever know? Sarah definitely has the hatred of lots of people, it seems the Left needs very little encouragement to to fan their hate.

Fot some reason, there are lots of people who fear Sarah--why is that? Her life's record is quite well known--she is a good woman, with an excellent record of accomplishment--why the hate?

  • With all due respect, sir, being out to make a buck is the capitalist way. To insult that very concept is to be anti-capitalist, and therefore socialist. Or worse. Are you, sir, a socialist? Or worse?

Was Sarah Palin out to make a buck when she got her $7 million advance? Of course she was, and I don't begrudge her that at all. I have certain issues with Sarah Palin, but accusing her of being too much of a capitalist is not one of them. - Marty.

  • I'm confused.

Was Palin ever asked, 'Is Africa a country?'

Or were you the source of this red herring?

Very funny promo . I'll read the book.

  • If you look at the full clip of Palin that's in the video, she essentially admits saying the Africa quote. She just thinks it's "unprofessional" for disgruntled McCain advisers to tell people about it.

  • How do we know there's an actual book? Couldn't this just be part of an elaborate hoax?

  • This is just the sort of prevailing attitude I talk about in the book! Who started this vicious rumor? Who's behind it? You can see quite clearly in the video that I am holding the book. Therefore, it exists.

  • He Harding.. not sure WHO you were replying to, as jmshaw said nothing criticizing capitalism or making money! (unless in an earlier post). His post was RIGHT ON, and should be supported! Your post is good, too, except for the first paragraph!! Thanks

  • You are exactly CORRECT, jmshaw357! Thanks for your comment - well said! The Left and the lame-stream media need VERY LITTLE encouragement to fan their hate, as you say! And their ideological idiocy. Sarah IS intelligent, she governed Alaska WELL and in the INTEREST of its citizens! The country as a whole could use GOOD MANAGEMENT like that in gov't instead of the spend-thrift CLOWNS we have now! November 2010 and 2012 are coming! It's a beautiful thing...

  • @jmshaw357

You don't like making money... You're a fucking commie!!!

  • @AmericaTops

    troll

  • @mhennek Sarah Palin is smart, intelligent, energetic and has the RIGHT principles! THAT's what counts! Martin Eisenstat is a BIG ... nobody! Who cares? What a joke.

  • the left hates sarah palin because the liberal media tells them to...they don't even know her and most of them don't even know which party conrolls congress...see the morons who vote video on you tube..i rest my case

  • yeah....like obama thinking there were more than 50 states in usa....which is worse i ask you

  • i was going to comment but your not worth a comment

  • The fear comes from listening to the woman speak, and from the answers she has given to important questions. she comes across as inarticulate, uneducated and incurious about the world.

To hold Palin up as the best possible candidate for anything is ridiculous, and dangerous.

What one knows about the world matters, especially for a world leader and Sarah doesn't even appear to care. For Mccain to present her as a credible successor while claiming to "put country first" is unforgivable.
