Awesome! And Marsha sings this song just as beautifully - even with her more mature voice - as she did back then.
My church had the blessed privilege of having Marsha do a concert for us, just last summer. She was fabulous, and looks great. It's even more awesome to see her actually performing with her group of orgin -- Children of the Day.

Lived in SoCal at the time that Jesus People movement and revival was taking place. It seemed that no matter where you traveled in that area that there were many who were following in "the Way" of the cross, many musicians who sang of His praises. I have had the chance over the years to meet and indeed play with some of the musicians of that era. I miss those wonderful times. many Blessings, rev.jon

Marsha, So many people have sung your song "For Those Tears I Died" and it has been a life changing experience. God has Blessed you with so many, many more beautiful songs - keep sharing your talents and gifts. Blessed Be! - Ro Halford -

This is so real, so anointed, so "nonprofessional" and full of GOD's Presence because of the simply childlike love & faith toward the LORD. ... "O LORD ! REVIVE YOUR people on last time." !!!!!!!!!

This is from the first album I bought in 1974. I attended Faith Center in Eugene, Oregon while in high school.

That was a kindler, gentler America--I loved Maranatha, Lamb, Keith Green, Phil Keaggy, Daniel Amos, 2d Chapter of Acts, Evie, etc...

It's not about us. It's about Him. Thanks for posting.

Yes, I remember this group as well! I went to CC as well in the early 70's. I cried listening to this, and to Love Song, wow, it's where it all started and I am remembering those days with tears, Jesus was more real to me then and to this day even more. I miss Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, God bless brother!

The musicians are Russ Stevens, Marsha Carter Stevens-Pino, Wendy Carter Fremin, Pete Jacobs. They are originally from Claremont, California. Their home base at the time of recording was Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. They deserve credit for being one of the first contemporary Christian musical groups.
