Trashy Games #73: Revolution X (SNES)

Here's a rather silly game that features the band Aerosmith, where you have to stop the criminal organisation called New Order. You can kill its minions with gunshots or throwing explosive CDs at them. The last time I had a video of this, I showed just the first level and controlled the crosshair with the mouse. This time, two levels are shown and the controlling of the crosshair is now with the D-Pad.

The strange thing is, the MegaDrive and Arcade versions are better than this one, according to some people at GameFAQs.

The arcade version was decent. The Playstation port was very awful, so no wonder why the SNES/MD should be any better... T_T

I remember this game at the arcade. At least the arcade version anyway.

I've never actually played the SNES version, but i always loved the Arcade version. Same goes for Terminator 2: The Arcade Game. SNES wasn't so good, but the Arcade version was alot of fun. :)

Wow, shooting at thousands of yellow guys doesn't seem like fun. If you wanna combine Aerosmith and shooting, play Doom while cranking up "Get Your Wings".

I forgot there was an option to turn off the sound effects. I love that because there were NO sound effects other than shooting your gun, and CD's, once you were in the game. All of the space was devoted to the music.
