what to do with my mini?
a friend of mine gave it to me and it doesn't charge or power on

@chiboi56 if you are still looking to replace your mini, go on eBay and buy a new one. If your logic board is dead then it's cheaper to buy a replacement mini. However, you can remove the hdd from your current mini and put it into your "new" mini if you want to hold onto all of your data.

Hi i really enjoyed your video, i wished i had watched it before taking apart my ipod and causing a mess. I have a problem, i wanted to replace the battery of my ipod mini and ended up not disconnecting the connector from the bottom and it came off the cable. I dont know what to do now cos the ipod is acting up. can i solder the connector back to the brown cable? I really need help fast. Thanks

@chiboi56 - No, you can't solder the cable back together.

@meepowmee - It's likely the logic board in which case you're better off buying a replacement iPod.
