I agree with the sentiment, however conference room sound wasn't that good, must not have used a union sound guy.

Local Union Democracy: IBEW International Style
Vote on Memorandum of Understanding to introduce a multi-tiered wage system and discounted Journeyman at 30% off at Local 58 Detroit: 630 | For 607 | Against out of a total of 3400 eligible to vote. Do the math. Houston we have a problem. You don't have real democracy when over 64% are discouraged to participate.
Produce your slick videos but don't think it will distract your membership from the issues of the day destroying this union.

Hilarious! Just keep believing that's how labor consultants win campaigns, IBEW!
Without the unions, no one is safe from the predatory practices of big businesses. There is strength in numbers against the money and power of the owners and head honchos. In fact, that is the only option that will WORK with these exploiters.

Real workplace Democracy means no threats or interference to employees who want to collectively make their lives safer, healthy, and better for their colleagues and their families.
Those who want to limit workers pay and benefits yell at the top of their lungs when members of the public complain about overpaid and overrated executives, especially those executives who receive bonuses, bailouts, and golden handshakes when their companies are failing.
