"And you went on a date with me yet you still like him don't you" Chris stated and it felt like all the air had been taken from my lungshe knew, how? If he knew did others?
"I..." I started but I was quickly saved as Chriss phone started vibrating loudly across the table. At first he ignored it his intense stare upon me making my breathing uneven but finally he sighed dropping his gaze to fetch his phone. As soon as his eyes had left mine I could breathe again like a massive weight had been lifted from my chest
"Hello" he breathed into the phone and I couldnt help but let my eyes follow his as I took him in.
Even though we were inside he was still wearing his hat pulled down around the side of his angelic face hiding most of his swept hair. Only reliving a few strands hanging into his eyes. The urged to push them softly from them as I watched him was almost over powering and my heart rate started to race as my eyes fell from his following the movement of his lips as he talked. The memory of them pushed against mine seemed almost a life time ago yet they still seemed to mesmerise me craving the burning feeling they left against mine....I wanted him.
"I know Joe" Chris sighed wounded slightly and I sunk down into my seat as I sighed internally as the battle I had just won came crashing down around me. I do like Chris but I like Joe too...ahhh...why is life so complicated. You would have thought that just maybe something in my life could have gone smoothly but no I finally get myself back on track and my love life goes into a spiral down fall.
Suddenly my pocket started to vibrated and I jumped slightly as I started to wriggle against the seat trying to reach the phone from my jeans. Why did the pockets on these things have to be so tight? I finally retrieved it from my pocket to look up to fine Chris smirking at me slightly. At once I felt the heat rise in my cheeks as I dodged his gaze placing the phone to my ear
"Hello" I asked quietly still trying to control my blush
"M...MI...MIA" Lauren rushed down the phone her voice panicked her breathing rapid
"Lauren" I spoke loudly sitting up straight and at once I felt all eyes on me but at that moment I couldn't have cared less
"Lauren whats wrong? Are you ok? Where are you?" I bombarded her, the panic rising in my voice as I continued to listen to her heavy breathing
"Kevin...he...he" she stuttered
"What about Kevin Lauren?" I asked frantic and I felt Chris's eyes on me burning into my skin as he watched me still talking with Joe
"He...I think he...asked me to marry him" she let out in one long breath and my whole jaw dropped as the dinner seemed to become silent around me
"He what?" I whispered softly the information not quite sunk in yet
"He asked me to marry him" she replied just as softly her breathing seeming to slow down slightly but that's when mine started to pick
"Do you know how much you scared me" I scolded into the phone
"I thought you were hurt... you nearly gave me a heart attack" i spoke my voice becoming softer as i heard her sigh guiltly on the other end
"I'm sor..." she started but I cut her off it wasn't her thought
"No its fine Lauren...where are you is Kevin with you there" I asked slightly confused
"no he told me he wanted to purpose probably and pushed me into a dress shop telling me to pick one out before disappearing" she told me breathing deeply again
"It's ok Lauren I'll come to you where are you now?" I asked slightly concern she was having a panic attack
"I'm in the dressing rooms in outfitters" she coughed slightly and at once I knew I had to go to her as a vision of her curled up in one of the dressing rooms flashed across my mind
"Stay put ok I'll be there as soon as I can" I told her
"Were going to get you the perfect dress" I smiled widely before hanging up turning at once to fine Chris watching me.
I could feel the butterflies floating around my stomach as his breathing taking eyes peered into mine
"Is everything ok?" he asked concerned and I nodded just realising he wasn't on the phone any longer
"I'm guessing you have to leave?" he asked
"Well it just...I'm sorry" I told him deciding it wasn't really my place to tell anyone one Kevin and Laurens business
"It's ok Joe wanted to meet up anyway" he smiled and I felt my stomach stiffen leaving me once again confused was it because he had mentioned meeting Joe or was it because he had the most perfect smile in the world
"You sure" I asked softly and he nodded as he raised his hand signalling for the check
"Just tell me where you want dropping and its fine" he smiled and at once I felt the hairs on the back of my neck raise...ahh life was beyond confusing
Q.Would you rather have super strength or super intelligence?
A. I would have super intelligence because you wouldnt need to beat anyone up because you could out smart them all :D plus what would you do with super strength?

umm i dont know. maybe just normal of each... and super strength would make me look like a butch
