  • If it is someone's pet, almost always they will say "he" or "she" since it's part of their family. if it is an animal they don't know, it would be described as "it".

    However, if a hunter is looking at a deer or moose, and they know the gender, they would refer to it by the gender with "he" or "she".

  • for a man that's "he" and for a woman that's "she"...how about animals? that should be he and she or it? i've heard that in england they use "it" for animals...thanks
