  • Hey, guys.. here's a novel idea that you've all heard before:

    Maybe the genre should be of secondary importance to the quality of the music itself.

    Seriously, on almost every song I try to look up to link to friends or whatever, I always see you little shits bickering back and forth over something so insignificant as a label. No different than squabbling between high-school cliques. It's petty, absurd, and an insult to all things metal.

  • @MrGruntcore If you're so picky about your music that you require that syncopated djent noise...you're too picky. There are a lot of great bands who use djent in maybe 10% of their songs...are they djent or not? Will djent fans like those songs that don't have that or not? It just puts way too much weight on that and not enough weight on the overall sound the band is going for.The only plus side to djent as a title is that it can span any genre, while most genre labels are limiting.
