This is my video edit of the original 1993 12" Extended Version of "Rubberband Girl" by Kate Bush.
Before Kate became famous in the seventies she used to travel into London from Kent on the Tube Train for daily dance Lessons from Lyndsay Kemp.
(What follows is a completely unsubstantiated rumour I once heard, but found amusing).
Allegedly, When Kate was a teenager she went through a phase of baking cakes with a "special" ingredient that she would sometimes eat after her lesson.
Apparently, this (by chance) once led to Kate finding herself alone in London in the middle of an IRA bomb scare, in a rather "jolly" mood!
Rubberband Girl, always one of my favourites.

Only Kate Bush could make dancing in a straight-jacket sensual. Man, no one can touch her. She's beyond taste, beyond fashion...truly a one of a kind.

This is such a hopelessly positive tune - I love it and I love her dancing - makes me smile ;-) very Talking Heads-ish! Thanks for posting!
