First video recorded in my new house, with my new camera and with my new old Sting Ray! I know, I know: there's a major mistake towards the end (and I try to justify myself considering that playing with a detuned low E to D doesn't come that natural to me) but I was eager to introduce you my last bass, my pride and joy.

  • Okay, then pls sell me this bass! =D

  • @Fabinbassified, oh no, not this one: after all the time I have struggled to find it, let me enjoy it for a while!

I can sell you my old Sabre, instead ;-)

  • @ato71 oeh, I've been looking for a sabre for months!

  • @Fabinbassified, it's the bass I played in my old fretless videos (I have a fretted one too but I think I'll keep that).

  • ato71, another brilliant bass cover, I knew you could do this one, and it suited your style so well, even with the 'tiny' error you nailed it. I mentioned this to you a while ago, thinking it was a Pino bass line, however I can find nothing to confirm this though I have always considered it to be Pino, can anyone confirm if it is?

  • @Bassbunter, thanks my friend. I owed you this song because you suggested it to me! I have found no reference about Pino playing this track, but I cannot think anyone else than him could play it that way (well, except for me ;-p). Only thing I could find, the song producer is Laurie Latham, who had previously worked with Paul Young in his first th LPs. I think this confirms our suspects!
