@vaieas liquid elemental mercury such as this isn't absorbed very well by the skin while contact is a matter of minutes or hours. so in fact you could just jump in such mercury pool and swim without the body condom. no ill effects would happen.

@vaieas You would only sit on the surface, Hg is far too heavy. If you were pushed under your said pool of Hg then you would most definitely be crushed to death. Sorry to burst your bubble! haha
