Is there any better quality version anywhere? (I'm talking about the video itself)

omg omg~ its damn fun to play!
-
One of the most fun flute concertos to play, and certainly one of the most fun to listen to. ♪

@DDBconducts Might I add, the audience was boring...but the musicians and what they brought forth were not.

it's amazing to see how was he nervous but also in love with the music when he was younger... now he seems to be very bored sometimes.. I can imagine that working so much for so many years can stress a lot

its so beautiful!

@RyaZila24 He knows it really was not together because they drank right before the performance and had a bit hang over while negotiating those passages, as Mozart would've liked.

fantastico...
1:45 is when the music begins
at around 2:19 for some reason the violins don't seem together with the lower strings to me and at 2:25 it looks like Emmanuel is smiling because he knows its really not together
the cadenza at 7:33 was amazing

he is SO handsome!
oh...and he's an excellent player as well. haha - I'm just always surprised when symphonic musicians are good looking. For some reason a lot of them seem to be stuck in the styles of the 1980s or something.
Emmanuel is quite handsome!
