Welcome hoopla at Dos Palmas Resort. It was named Dos Palmas because it had 2 very old palm trees that stood a few feet above the rest of the palm trees on the island. But one of the palm trees was uprooted in the last hurricane. Should the island be renamed Uno Palma? Anyhoo, they kept the trunk of the fallen palm tree and turned part of it into a big drum...which is being used by the welcoming crew.
Palawan is perhaps the finest island on planet earth?

Palawan has a rich cultural heritage. You get more than the sun and the sea but an exploration of a Filipino culture you can be truly proud of.

Looks like a nice place, but I wish the cook would stop banging on the pots and pans.

This part of the "Republic of the Philippines" is very nice, that's why some ills of the society(or neighborhood?) wants to grab it.

Philippines is really sinking for tourist spots becuz of this muslim terrorists and lack of government awareness. Government and mayors stop killing each other and help ur own countrymen. We need change NO more coruptions. Soon philippines will be like africa. Hindi talaga uun lad ang pinas dahil sa mga ganitong problema.
