  • @Aimanali the complete lecture by Imran Khan is on our channel. The entire panel discussion with Finn, Onions, Thomson et al was too long to post on YouTube - so we posted selected highlights, like this one (above). Hope you enjoy them!

  • @indianspartacus I totally agree

  • Yeah yeah, they can talk whatever they, these boys are bowling faster than anyone of them, let is be Holding, Roberts, Imran, Willis, THomson, they looked more dangerous because of lack of protection for the batters, no helmets etc.

  • Slight exaggeration by JT in the fastest bowler competition in 78 (on you tube if you look for it) he was the fastest for sure and was clocked at 151 kph Now this may be as he stated not from just out of the hand like they do it now days But he was also clocked in a game using special cameras from out of the hand at 99.9 mph so that in my opinion that would be similar to what you see from Tait and co today I think anyone that thinks he bowled 110 mph + is dreaming Look at baseball 104 - 7mph max

  • @JFK2684 EXACTLY!, but try telling the pakis that!, they worship the fucking guy!.

the fastest ever Thommo delivery was 161.45, nobodys beaten that!.

  • @cockywatchman1976 Yes true but is the speed measurer always correct??? we've been proven its wrong in so many occasions. Don't get me wrong, im just replying to what you said..

  • @JFK2684 Is that proof? Don't think so. He might be right....but that isn't proof

  • @JFK2684 absolutely, finally someone with some brains.

  • @funk192 Thomson didn't bowl many full tosses mate.

  • Timed @ 99mph over the whole length of the pitch, but did it hit the pitch to slow it down to account for the 10% average loss in speed?

  • @JFK2684 We can't compare, because there were not the same facilities in order to measure their pace... just say that they were the fastest of their respective 'eras'. Some peoples put Harold Larwood at 130mph. Says a lot about 'personal' views.
