Just some simple applications using shotokan basic moves and putting them together for a more flowing routine... Before you start messaging me with your opinions on how YOU think it should be done or how the Knife blocks would be dangerous please UNDERSTAND these are applications that should be called upon as part of your fighting routine they are not intended to used solely used as the begining or the end to a fight but to be called upon in the right situation which only you will feel at the time. Remember if your moves (techniques) have to be thought about during a fight this means you have not practiced enough on a whole range of possible attacks and responses a real fight is not the same as a controlled match or competition consider being grabbed or taken to the floor while fighting practice gripps lower leg strikes and head locks on the floor its good exercise and may come in use one day

  • you train with exagerated moves, so that when you do have to defend, the techniques will be faster and tighter

  • You've made your karate so efficient it looks more lie kenpo or kune tao or jujutsu, it isn't ponderous and wide open like shotokan (a Do form of karate) or power dependent. It is now Karate Jutsu! I like it.

  • This is what real time shotokan is suppose to look like. Your practice rigid, and in real time fighting your muscle memory allows you to be swift and fast. Shotokan blows away Kenpo anytime.

  • i liked the ridge hand. Always good to watch techniques of different styles. keep up the good work.
