Alexis Sinduhije is a former journalist, very famous in Burundi. He is now (February 2009) imprisoned and he will run for the 2010 presidential elections. Amnesty International denounced his case as an abuse of human rights and many people are signing petitions to free him.

  • come on guys, does this guy sound like somebody who went to Harvard University?or is it just a lie?even his english is weak..........

  • Two wrongs don't make a right, I don't want some still resentful 1972 hutus survivors to say: "see even a tutsi admits that they started it, they got what they deserved!" kinda of talk, also I don't want some tutsis to say innocent tutsis were not responsible in 1993 that's why hutus got retaliation; we need to stop this dialectical way of thinking and realise that in every killing since 1965 to now it was always one thing that started it: POWER!!! all governments have a lot to answer
