I was surprised to find out that The New Yorker covers by Jorge Colombo were painted entirely on his iPhone using an application called Brushes. I decided to purchase the application myself and see what it can do. I have to say, it's not the same as doing digital painting on a nice big computer screen, but it is incredibly cool. Especially, since you can convert your paintings into QuickTime movies so that you can share your process with others. I worked on this UFO painting for about two hours at home.
That's really awesome. I didn't know iPhone had a painting app. Is it a free download? Check out my "how to draw" vids.
