Daytime Strange Gold Ball of Light UFO Chicago 27 May 2011

I saw this gold shape shifting UFO sphere flying over Chicago May 27, 2011. This is the 3rd time this year I have seen it. It also flew over on 4/29 and 5/22. It appeared as a point of light looking East towards the Downtown. It was a gold sphere then a diamond shape back to a sphere it seemed to flicker and change from copper to burnt orange back to gold color. I saw to seperate MUFON reports of this being seen over Chicago I will include the links to those sightings and my own here in the description. Thanks for watching friend comment subscribe.

MUFON # 29269 (NOT MINE)
On Saturday, May 21st at approx 12am I noticed a glowing ball of light above our heads as I sat on a friend?s outdoor deck. He lives on Malden just north of Wilson in Chicago. Four of us were there and someone thought it looked like a balloon. This seemed inconsistent as to the way it was traveling, in my opinion. The ?balloon? was approx 100 ? 150 yards above our heads traveling due north in a straight and steady pace. It was traveling approx 20-30 mph. I would say it resembled a Chinese lantern in terms of the glowing, soft light. It appeared smooth in texture. I watched it travel until I couldn?t see it anymore and when I was losing sight of it the sky had a glitter effect where I thought the object should have been in the distance. I was very impressed and curious about the sighting, whereas my friends just sort of dismissed the event. (!!)

MUFON # 29271 (NOT MINE)
I was looking out my window when I saw this object. In the past, when I see something strange, it goes away quickly. However, this particular time the object hovered back and forth for about 20 minutes. It was in the sky for about 10 minutes before I started filming. Prior to filming, the object blinked red and orange. While I was filming, the object was only blinking two red lights. Once, I thought the object was out of view I stopped filming. Unfortunately I did not get on tape something very strange that I saw. I live in the fly zone of o-hare airport. So there are planes landing and taking off that fly by my condo. After I had turned off the camera, the object got close to an airplane. When it was close to the airplane the lights on the objected widened. This was a pretty strange occurrence. Hey man i saw something similar to that august 6 2011 and I live in chicago too. It look just like that and at first my dad saw it and quickly told me. I was on the phone and I just hunged up the phone right away. I tried to record it but my camera phone is not that good. It was flying stright like that one and it disapeared in the clouds.

Please email as soon as you see them again and try and keep a camcorder handy I want to see if multiple people around Chicago can record the same UFO activity on the same date. @guttergawker Ok will do. Where did you see it by? I live in albany park area by lawrence and pulaski. I told some friends and they said it could be a weather balloon but i know how they look like and im pretty sure its no.

@arnulfo500 I see them everywhere where in Chicago but I live in Forest Park. Those arent weather balloons. I like Albany park, I used to live in Logan Square but never saw a UFO when I lived there. I have seen them quite a few times on the Northside esp near Touhy and Caldwell near the North Edgebrook area.

Dude i saw a satellite over chicago once and they dont look that close also, in mexico i could see the sattelites too but still you cant see them close enough to catch them with a crappy camera.

P.s. I have very good eye sight.

Great catch, I've seen the silver highly reflective kind twice 6-8 years ago. Been trying to figure what they are ever since. They moved very fast from a stop and 1 did a Z move going very fast. The cutting edge of tech must be way out there.

This is almost identical to the object I say back in 06', near Lemore, CA. Home of a US Naval base. I always wondered if they were connected. I first thought it was a drop of water on my windshield, but started to move horizontally. After about 45 sec. it "winked" out of sight.

Nice capture, it would be good to put your camera on manual focus next time if it has that capability. Auto-focus is too slow at picking up far away objects. Unless you had a really highend camera and a good lens. Still this is definately a UFO :) and I for one am usually a difficult person to convince about these things.

to be honest i saw that damn thing to, only the one i've seen was blue, and i live in the netherlands, i was standing in my backyard when i saw that thing, but the strange thing is that the one you caught on film is flying far away, the one i saw was flying about 30 or 40 meters high and it was just 50 or 60 meters away from me, so i saw it very clear and still i didn't figure out what the hell that thing was, it was a blue ball flying at the same speed as the one you saw in a straight line.
