Grange Hotels were proud to support the Sri Lankan Cricket Gala Dinner, 2011, to raise money for its sponsored charity Indian Ocean Disaster Relief (http://www.iodr.co.uk) and the development of schools cricket in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan team was the star attraction of the Dinner to raise money for IODR, held at the Grange St Paul's Hotel.
This is an overview of the evening, which included keynote speeches, a taste of Sri Lankan culture and the chance for the players - ahead of an important One-Day International series with England - to relax and meet their fans.
Celebrities have to touch every social class of the society. If they wish to gain something from some certain people then they have to go with their style. So private parties for the elite class, charity matches for common fans. No Worries. :)

It is so sad that the small minded selfish elite only think of themselves by having a private party costing the earth per person that is ill affordable to the average cricket loving fans. Their so called speeches are just for show / cameras and publicity. When we thought things were bad in Sri Lanka with political interference are we having a laugh? You blinkered lot get real get a life! & come down to earth. What the organisers wanted to do with the profits is unthinkable to say the least!
