Damn, how are you going to afford to live in Manhattan?
I have a job and go to school and if I choose to live in the city I'd be living from paycheck to paycheck, which is not the situation I want to be in. I also refuse to take out loans so obviously that contributes to my financial conservatism.

@blueconsole Well, I'd be living in either student housing in a nice neighborhood or an eetsy bitsy little studio or 1 bedroom on one of the less fashionable parts of town. When you look also makes a big difference since prices drop in the winter, and that's when I'd be getting a room anyway.
