My dad is a MD-11 driver with FedEx but was a line check airman with flight standards on the 10..He says he misses the old 10 but likes the "Mad Dog".. He really likes the HUD. I am pretty impressed with the 777 and hope that I will get to fly it someday. Right now I am just a flight instructor and in the Air Force..

Like I said, is either a DC-10 or an MD-10. FedEx took many of their DC-10s and converted them to MDs, meaning digitizing the cockpits just like the MD-11.
My airplane type rating is for the MD-11 but I fly both airplanes. Apart from a couple extra antennas on the outside, the only way to tell an MD10 from a DC10 is a "MD-10" label right below the cockpit.(and the fact that as of this month all the DC10s were retired)

your tag should be DC-10 since it's not an MD-11.
