@ReliableInsider It ain't going to happen. Most people are naturally violent and aggressive. They only understand violence and the threat of violence. The only reason most people stay in line and are controllable is that they fear punishment, i.e. either being beaten or shot by cops and being thrown in jail by courts. People that are pacifists or so-called enlightened, civilized people, are the exception in Humanity rather than the rule. People understand the stick much better than the carrot.

Well, not all senseless. I heard it put this way: Those that put down their guns would be at the mercy of those that didn't put down their guns. Man's wisdom hasn't kept pace with his technogical advancement. He's really still an ape that just happens to know how to play with fire.

A couple of baby bears once in a while makes the news bearable, so to speak.

Much more troubling are the hosts like Glenn Beck who deliberately frighten viewers in order to distract them and to get them to turn off their brains.

An entertained viewer is an attentive viewer. A panicked viewer can't think straight.

The Nazis similarly used propaganda films to try to teach the Germans to hate and fear. It's a control technique.
