This video will show you how to enable Bluetooth on the Nook Color so you can connect Bluetooth devices to it. Such devices can include keyboards, headphones, mice, and even Wiimotes.

-----

This requires CyanogenMod 7 (At least version 7.0.2) to be installed on your Nook Color. If you do not have this installed, please use these videos to get it installed.

How to Install CyanogenMod 7 on the Nook Color:

PC Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88qRbLLEAPQ

Mac Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmmmm8cBpe0

-----

This video focuses on connecting keyboards, as they require the most steps.

For any other device, just unpair from whatever it is paired to, enable Bluetooth on the Nook Color, make your device discoverable, scan for devices on the Nook Color, and tap to pair the device.

To unpair devices from the Nook Color, tap and hold on the device you want to unpair, then hit "Disconnect & unpair"

Note: Bluetooth is one of the things that kill your battery the fastest, so just be forewarned on that.

  • But what happened to the Honeycomb install video you said you would upload?

  • @KnightFader All of the builds are way too buggy and glitchy. It won't be worth installing until Google drops the source code and devs build a ROM based on it.

  • Oh no not your last Nook video.. ?? I so look forward to see and learning from you.. please don't abandon us...... but if you do thanks for all the help you have provided to those of us tech dummies...

  • @nurserc1 I'm not abandoning Nook Color users. Remember that the NC runs Android, and I'm not stopping my Android videos. NC users can still take advantage of most of the Android related videos I make.

  • This will be the last video dedicated to the Nook Color.

Your videos have helped me a great deal and I appreciate them.

  • Thanks a lot for this video. I couldn't get Bluetooth to work on my Nook and I realized that I had to restart it and go turn it on right after a restart. Really appreciate your help!

  • thx for every thing u real helped a lot

  • wow! i was going to sell my laptop to get the new 10.1 gtab, but the nook color is a way better bargain for all the hardware! now i wont sell my laptop.

  • @ChirpingBirdy use titanium backup. you can get it from the market and it comes preinstalled in some custom roms. once installed make your account. the account backups can be accessed from and device with the app. but be warned that you have to manually backup each app and you need root access

  • @huskermania Will you do another one when a stable version of a honeycomb/ ice cream sandwich rom comes out?

  • Hey man what kind of headphones are those at the end? i am looking for a pair of Bluetooth or wireless headphones

  • I bought this same Apple keyboard, and it still won't connect. It keeps asking for the pin, and I've done all the steps you've shown, and still....it will not pair!
