The date was Feb. 29, 1992. No. 4 qualifier, Chris Warren defeated 3 opponents to reach the final match vs. Bob Vespi, who was looking for his first title. Both bowlers bowled excellent in the clutch with Warren prevailing, and taunting Vespi after the match. Enjoy!

Chris Warren lives in my town at a pro shop for bowlers and he got me ball and shoes. He really does know what hes talking about.

you know...if you watch Vespi when they slow it down...it's the same as Belmo w/o the left hand holding the ball....very interesting...!!!!

A lot of people call Vespi's style unorthodoxed but I say hey, whatever you need to do to get the revs and who cares! I mean look at Mike Miller and Ron Williams...Mike Miller palms the ball but he's thrown a 300 on TV and won tournaments. Ron Williams has won some tournaments as well. I say who cares what your style looks like...The end result is what counts and more power to ya!

how long would Bob be able to bowl like this?
The style is extremely stressful on the wrist.

I can't stand watching Bob Vespi, I'm a big fan of the old school bowlers, locked elbow, but can still get hit it.
