All of the interesting stuff I've made in blender. And to think a month ago all I could do was animate basic shapes through space! :D

Music (in order): Clockwork Connection by Texas Radio Fish, Rule Britannia!, Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble, Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky

  • I feel obliged to comment but I have nothing interesting to say so I shall draw your attention to that fact.

  • @andyofcomixinc I think it's safe to take that as a compliment, so thanks!

    ..I think?

  • hey, i was Okish at blender until i download 2.5 and the format changed. which is better? should i get the old one back?

  • @CheeseIsAll164 I would say definitely go with 2.5. I started with 2.4, and switching over comes with a pretty annoying learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, 2.5 is a lot better/smoother and things can get done more quickly. On top of that, 2.5 can render the same scene in less than half the time compared to 2.49.

  • Awesome. ive done some cool things in blender but i still havent figured out how to make the camera move during renders.

  • @galacticboy100 I watched the video on your channel. Do you know how to do an animation rather than just letting the physics simulator do its work?

If you do, all you have to do is treat the camera like any other object and make keyframes for it.

If not, I can't quite explain it in a youtube comment, but if you just google "blender 2.5 animation tutorial", you'll come up with more than enough info.

Good luck hehe - blender is a hell of a thing to learn at the beginning.

  • @RunningLemonStudios Yes, please do. I was quite impressed with the imagination presented here.

  • Nice work. The Mirror's Edge theme song made me happy; I love that game. :)
