  • I still don't understand how James Mcavoy has not yet been recognised for anything in the US (besides a GG nomination for Atonement, but the ceremony was cancelled because of the writers' strike so it's almost like it didn't happen) after The Last King Of Scottland and this. Not only does he always give flawless performences but he - in my opinion - has only made great choices as far as picking projects goes.

  • I fly that "Freak Flag" with DDL..I'm A Fucking Weirdo.

  • @Ktig88 lmao you're totally right. His choice of wardrobe is of, um, dubious taste to say the least, but that's DDL for you; he just doesn't give a shit. He's still my boy though; amazing actor, and seems like a great person as well.

  • @CeecileJoe I agree. He definitely should've gotten more notice for last King of Scotland. A lesser actor definitely would've been devoured by Forrest Whittaker's towering performance but James more than held his own; Then awards time come around and Forrest is the only one in the film getting all the love. I'm still scratching my head.

  • @shehzilzahid "she's had a following since she was a wee girl"? or something like that?

  • What was that James said about Keira Knightley, "I just worked with keira knightley somethingsomethingsomething girl!" ?

  • @MrUtubesux Ah also sorry for any english mistakes I'm sure I've made. It's not my first language and post-halloween night is brutal.

  • @MrUtubesux Exactly. "Choices". Not talking about the movies' quality. They don't all have to be brilliant. What I meant is he hasn't picked a project that has made me go "Oh hell no!" I liked Wanted, it's not the best movie, but it's not trash either. For an action movie - which I generally dislike - it was enjoyable. And I don't think it bombed at the box office.

Liking his films doesn't really matter. It's all subjectif. What matters is that career wise he hasn't made a faux pas so far.

  • @CeecileArya it was obviously a hyperbolic statement. either way you said he makes great choices. and wanted is far from a great movie.

  • @MrUtubesux No one's talking about making "masterpieces" here. I haven't seen G&J but I'm sure a animated movie can't be that bad. As for Wanted, it was good. It was original, not cliché, well acted..

Drop the sarcasm bb, you're not very good at it.

  • @CeecileJoe lol yea he makes great choices; masterpieces such as gnomeo and juliet and wanted.
