Impressive cuts! Not too technical, but very funky! What's that beat?
-
@dionysis1200 In my opinion the PDX is a mixing beast with the ULTRA PITCH! Come on man, with that you can mix bpms that were not available to reach on a 1200.
-
@dionysis1200 Id also like to mention the diversity of technics because they appealed to the scratch djs AND the dance music guys (D&B/house/trance).
-
DOPE!
-
@dionysis1200 ur completely right!
at the end it comes down to what you prefer. but the thing about the pitch controll you explained sure make sence.

Very cool man! Pretty good!

coo! which turntables?
ricard0wnz 1 year ago
@ricard0wnz those are the one and only technic 1200's. the best turntable ever. they, unfortunately, don't make them anymore.

@dionysis1200 actualy its not the best.. Its Still THE turntable tho..
If you look at vestax pdx2000 it got a even more powerfull motor than the technics 1200's
Have to give props to this guy.. this set realy was nice!

@japjapi Yeah the pdx is nice, but the pitch control is not ideal for straight up mixing...for scratching it may have an edge in the motor department (1200's still perform more than adequately), but as an all around mix/scratch/dj turntable, I believe the 1200 to be the best. I will concede that the "best" turntable is simply a matter of opinion/preference.

How long did you learn to scratch. I am 32. Been making digita music for 11 years. So I want to learn to mix and scratch with my soon bought denon 3700 and rane ttm56s.
