UPDATE: After deliberating for 9 hours the jury came back with the verdict of Not Guilty on all charges. It seems the jury seen this as a case of self defense. For more information visit http://tinyurl.com/d76qu2s

  • Cops now adays don't really care about people they just want to use all there toys. I'm not saying all cops are bad but a majority of them are and need to be removed not put on suspension with pay. When i was younger cops would just tackle people and kneel on the back of your neck and handcuff ya... problem solved.......The worlds going to shit and we have basicaly lost every right our fathers/grandfathers have fought for in WW2. Society needs to open there eyes and stop bein muppets

  • In my state the victim is required to retreat unless in one's own home. The victim in this case fulfilled that requirement by driving to the police station. From the security footage anyone can see he was being pursued and the driver of the SUV was the aggressor. The driver of the SUV may very well have been armed and the passenger removed the weapon after the shooting, or the driver of the SUV was armed during the events before the individuals were caught on camera. Self defense.

  • I had NO clue what was going on >.<

  • self defense.///

  • you can clearly see that the shooter didn't want any problems... if he just wanted to shoot the guy he could've done that anywhere... he was probably going to the police station to make a report or at least get away from the threat and dumb ass followed him....PROBABLY A WANNA BE TOUGH GUY/ BULLY got more than he bargained for...EVERYONE ALWAYS FEEL SORRY FOR THE ONE THAT GOT SHOT, NEVER THINKING ABOUT WHY HE GOT SHOT...even a animal is gonna attack when if cornered or provoked

  • Self defemnce!

  • @zoyeeee -That's not what happened, the shooter did not shoot him when he was on the ground, that would be murder. The shooter fired 4-5 times as the attacker ran up, the last shot you see is as the attacker was falling. If you read the details of the case you'd know that...

  • @BlackDogSociety 2. FYI if he was that scared he shouldnt hav parked his car in that spot when he can see he has been followed by a guy who might do him some serious damage y not just run into the police station and leave ur car at the main door what was wrong in that but i guess that guy was lookin to get rid of him permanently

  • @BlackDogSociety I do get what ur saying the victim was down after 1 shot the second shot was fired while he was down this clearly shows the shooter did not have any heart seeing that man laying on the floor and take the opportunity to run off and tell the police but he wanted to get rid of him for once and for all once he knew he was badly wounded he decides to go to the police station he could have left him with single gun shot wound and could have gone to the police..

  • @zoyeeee -- One last thing, in real life one shot isn't always enough. When your life is one the line you keep firing until the threat is down. That is what the shooter did in this case. FYI the prosecution argued that one of the shots to the chest would have been enough but the video clearly shows otherwise...

  • @zoyeeee --- part 2, at the point where the attacker was running at him he could not run into the station, he could not get back in the car and drive away, all he could safely do was pull the trigger. That is part of why this was self defense, the attacker should not have put himself in a position where the only means of defense was by deadly force. The attacker is responsible for his own death. It's a tragic thing when someone dies like this but the shooting was justified nonetheless...

  • @zoyeeee --- OK let me try this again. The shooter was trying to get to help as fast as he could so he drove to the PD and started to exit the vehicle to go get that help. He couldn't have known the attacker would drive the SUV in at him. At this point there was nothing he could do but point his gun at the attacker and hope he backed off. The attacker didn't so he had to fire. Hindsight is 20/20, had the shooter known what would happen maybe he would have done things differently. Cont..
