Title translates "Under What Star Was I Born?" From Polnareff's classic "American" album "French Rock-Blues" released on Kapp's subsidiary "4 Corners of the World" Label. This one is my favorite from the LP :)
My Grandfather, now died, to beged with Michel Polnareff in the Parisian subway, him in the harmonica and Polnareff in the voice(vote).. I shall like(love) that our illustrious singer remembers him, his friend to whom he slept, did not pay sound? Rent;) we can nothing in his(her, its) there and I do not demand money(silver) but I wanted to say the truth to its subject
This is the great original mono mix of the song, not the terrible stereo mix where the guitar riff goes from left to right to left to... that drives me nuts.:-) Unfortunately, only the stereo mix has been available for years.
Hi !! I understand why you love this song, because in this time I think, Michel Polnareff has melt french word and british music style from mid 60's !!!! and for myself, I heard this song in the same time and I was 5 years old, but immediatly, I 'd loved this music co's so younger to understand !!!! and today I realize these words are mine !! I mean my life is a quest and I'm sure to find at the dead end !!!!!
