This is a Civil War era mill that I happened across looking for interesting subject matter to test the dolly system. All shot with a 5Dmk2, Nikon 17-35 & Hoya ND400. Exposures ranged from 1/2 to 2 seconds.

  • Cool, I live right next to there :D

  • @Ekamp Pretty area! The guy that hangs out here is a total trip. =)

  • Exceptional... indeed the growth in the quality of your work over time has been remarkable.

What are you using to dolly your 5D around while time-lapse shooting, I wonder...?

  • @kasranov Hey thanks. I posted close to a half an hour worth of info about the dolly yesterday! ;-) Check out my vids.

  • Very very cool.

0:42 looks like a crane shot... WAIT!... a time lapse crane... that's your next rig to create.

  • @KBDProductionsTV vertical and slopes definitely look very similar to a crane shot!

  • That is very nice.

  • Super footage, looks like a place with endless possibilities.

I have found a potential stockist in the UK for 1030 extrusion, awaiting confirmation / quote, will post on Timescapses if interested?
